The new queen of fashion, Sarah Burton, proves her talents once more as she continues to run the empire (yes,empire) left to her. Big shoes to fill, eh? She seems to fill them just perfectly...maybe she has big feet? Long, short, and mid-calf dresses filled the runway. Lots of layered ruffles sat upon the palette of colors. Each model came clad with a signature headpiece; in this case, elegant lace rather than the dark leather or cage-like masterpieces McQueen himself presented in his late collections. This line fits hand in hand with my current obsession with high necklines and turtlenecks. Keyhole cutouts AND turtlenecks? Love.
